Pootie Tang

description Pootie Tang Overview

Pootie Tang is a 2001 American comedy film written and directed by Louis C.K. and adapted from a sketch character first presented on HBO's The Chris Rock Show. Lance Crouther plays Pootie, a folk-hero figure whose influence over children brings him into conflict with Dick Lecter, the head of a corporation selling cigarettes, alcohol, and fast food. The film uses deliberately opaque, invented slang that other characters can understand even when the audience cannot.
