description Preliminary Base (Square Base) Overview

The Preliminary Base, also called the Square Base, is a standard starting form in origami. It is made from a square sheet by pre-creasing both diagonals and the horizontal and vertical midlines, then collapsing those creases into a compact four-flap form.
