Racold Pronto Pro

Not in the strict sense used for continuous-flow heaters. The Pronto Pro is a compact 3-litre instant-storage geyser that heats a small tank quickly with a 3 kW element.

Its 3-litre capacity is better suited to a washbasin, kitchen sink, or brief low-flow use than to a long shower. Anyone needing sustained hot water should compare it with a larger storage geyser or a true continuous-flow unit.

The Pronto Pro's 3 kW heating element draws considerably more power than an ordinary small appliance. Racold's manual specifies appropriately sized wiring, so the circuit, socket, earthing, and protective device should be checked by an electrician.

Racold's Pronto manual says a pressure-reducing valve is required if operating pressure exceeds 6.5 bar. The supplied safety valve must also be fitted at the inlet rather than omitted or bypassed.
