Rocks

Rocks is the 1976 fourth studio album by the American hard rock band Aerosmith. It features the classic original Aerosmith lineup, including lead singer Steven Tyler and lead guitarist Joe Perry.

While not packed with radio ballads, the album is highly regarded for its raw, drug-fueled energy and features the hit singles Back in the Saddle and Last Child. It also includes the heavy, fast-paced track Rats in the Cellar, which highlights the band's blues-rock intensity.

The 1976 album was a massive commercial hit, peaking at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart. It cemented Aerosmith as one of the biggest rock bands in the world during that decade, eventually achieving a four-times platinum certification.

The album is widely cited as a major influence by members of the bands Guns N' Roses and Nirvana. Both Slash from Guns N' Roses and Kurt Cobain of Nirvana have specifically praised the record for its raw, aggressive tone and undeniable swagger.
