Can RuneScape be played without paying for membership?

Yes, free players can explore areas such as Lumbridge and Varrock while training a restricted set of skills and completing free quests. Membership unlocks most of Gielinor, additional skills, and major quest lines such as While Guthix Sleeps.

Does RuneScape force players to choose a character class?

Can the same RuneScape account be used on PC and mobile?
