Samborombon Bay is a large, shallow inlet on the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, forming the southern edge of the Rio de la Plata estuary. The bay is flanked by extensive wetlands and mudflats that provide crucial habitats for migratory shorebirds and the endangered La Plata river dolphin. A portion of this coastline is protected within the Bahía de Samborombón Biosphere Reserve to conserve its ecological diversity. It is an important location for biological research and wildlife observation.
