Skate 2, released in January 2009, is a skateboarding game developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts. It followed the 2007 title Skate and served as the third installment within the Skate series. The game was available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before its successor, Skate 3, arrived in May 2010.

Skate 2 is set in New San Vanelona, a rebuilt version of the city from the first Skate. The story starts after the skater returns from jail and finds much of the city controlled by the company Mongocorp.
