description Solar Attack Overview

Solar Attack, also released under the title Solar Strike, is a 2006 Canadian television disaster film directed by Paul Ziller. Its plot centers on coronal mass ejections from the Sun that heat or ignite methane in Earth's upper atmosphere, creating a threat to human life. Mark Dacascos, Joanne Kelly, and Louis Gossett Jr. star in the film, which was shot in Ontario and combines space science with an international catastrophe storyline.
