Solvalou is a 1991 arcade rail shooter developed and published by Namco, set in the universe of the earlier Xevious series and running on Namco's System 21 polygon-based hardware. Players pilot the eponymous spaceship across 3D-rendered stages, alternating between using a forward-firing zapper for aerial enemies and a ground-targeting blaster for surface installations. It was later ported to the Sharp X68000 home computer in Japan.
