help Sorcerian FAQ

How does Sorcerian's scenario system work?

Instead of following one uninterrupted campaign, players create a party and select self-contained scenarios from a menu. Characters return from expeditions with experience and can be reused in other adventures.

Why do Sorcerian characters age?

Training, adventures, and time spent away from the party advance a character's age, making time management part of the role-playing system. Characters can eventually retire or die, so a roster may span multiple generations.

Which Dragon Slayer game is Sorcerian?

Nihon Falcom released Sorcerian in 1987 as the fifth main entry in its Dragon Slayer series. The series also includes Xanadu and Dragon Slayer IV, known in North America as Legacy of the Wizard.

What systems received versions of Sorcerian?

The original was made for Japan's NEC PC-8801 computer, followed by ports for systems including the PC-9801, MSX2, and Sega Genesis. Sierra On-Line also published an English DOS version for IBM-compatible PCs.
