Sovam

Sovam was a French vehicle manufacturer and bodybuilder associated with commercial vehicles and specialized Citroën-based designs. It is best known for unusual compact vans and utility vehicles rather than for a large mainstream passenger-car range.

Sovam built or converted vehicles using Citroën mechanical components and supplied specialized bodies and commercial models. That relationship does not mean every Sovam vehicle was a standard Citroën model sold through Citroën dealerships.

Sovam was active mainly during the second half of the twentieth century, with its best-known production associated with the 1960s and 1970s. Exact production and closure dates vary across historical references because the company changed structure and activities.
