Space Amoeba is a 1970 Japanese science-fiction kaiju film directed by Ishirō Honda and produced by Toho. It was released in the United States under the title Yog: Monster from Space. The story involves an extraterrestrial life-form that takes control of giant Earth creatures, including a cuttlefish and a crab, creating a conflict that combines alien invasion themes with the giant-monster conventions of Japanese cinema.
