Splendor Duel takes the core engine-building mechanics of the original Splendor and refines them into a sharper, more aggressive 2-player experience. Players collect gems to purchase cards, which in turn provide permanent bonuses and victory points. The addition of a shared gem board, special powers on cards, and three distinct victory conditions makes this version significantly more strategic than its predecessor. It is a fast-paced game of efficiency where every move counts, and players must constantly adapt to their opponent's strategy to secure the win before the other person does.
