Stadtpark Open Air is an outdoor concert series held at the Stadtpark Freilichtbühne in Hamburg, Germany. The event in its current form dates from 1975, when Karsten Jahnke launched it with a folk and blues festival; the venue is a grass-covered bowl enclosed by hedges and trees and can hold up to about 4,000 listeners. Its programming includes pop, rock, world music, jazz, comedy, readings, and children's events.
