Stangl Pottery was an American ceramics manufacturer based in Flemington, New Jersey, with roots in Samuel Hill Pottery, founded in 1814. The business later operated under the Fulper name and adopted the Stangl name in the twentieth century before closing in 1978. Its products included dinnerware, artware, and hand-painted bird figurines, many of which remain identifiable through marks on their bases. The company is mainly of interest to collectors of American pottery and mid-century tableware.
