description StoryCenter Overview

StoryCenter is a nonprofit organization formerly known as the Center for Digital Storytelling. Joe Lambert, Dana Atchley, and Nina Mullen founded its predecessor in 1994, and the organization developed a workshop method in which people combine first-person narration with photographs, video, sound, or other digital media to make short stories. StoryCenter works with educators, community groups, public agencies, and other organizations that use participatory storytelling.
