Sunstream Solar Panel Mounting System

The Sunstream system is designed for residential use and features a modular clip-and-lock design that accommodates various roof types. It is compatible with standard asphalt shingles, concrete or clay tile roofs, and standing seam metal roofs.

While asphalt shingle installations require specific flashing and lag bolts to secure the mounts to the roof rafters, the system minimizes unnecessary penetrations. For certain metal roofs, like standing seam designs, it utilizes clamp attachments that do not require drilling holes.

The system features a patented clip-and-lock design intended to streamline the installation process for contractors and serious DIYers. However, homeowners must still be highly comfortable working at heights and properly flashing roof penetrations to prevent leaks.

Sunstream utilizes standard aluminum profile rails and universal mid-clamps that fit most modern residential solar panels. As long as the solar module has a standard aluminum frame, it will lock securely into the system.
