help Super Gene FAQ
Who wrote Super Gene, and where can I read its English edition?
Super Gene is a Chinese web novel by Twelve-Winged Dark Burning Angel, a name also rendered as Twelve-Winged Dark Seraphim in some English listings. The English serial is hosted on Webnovel, where Han Sen's story is presented as a completed science-fiction work.
What is God's Sanctuary in Super Gene, and why does it matter?
God's Sanctuary is a mysterious space reached through human teleport technology, where dangerous creatures live and normal technology loses much of its value. Hunting there turns survival into a progression system because eating creature meat can award geno points.
How do gene points and beast souls work for Han Sen?
Han Sen can earn geno points by consuming creatures, while kills can also produce beast souls that grant special abilities or equipment. The Webnovel synopsis uses a sacred-blood black beetle as an example, linking its defeat to a beast soul and a random 0 to 10 geno-point gain.
How long is Super Gene compared with a typical web novel?
The Webnovel English listing labels Super Gene completed at 3,462 chapters, so it is a long-form serial rather than a short standalone novel. Its story moves Han Sen through multiple Sanctuary stages and increasingly dangerous creature tiers.
