Tiger Boy

description Tiger Boy Overview

Tiger Boy is a 1966 Hong Kong wuxia film directed by Chang Cheh and produced by Shaw Brothers. It stars Jimmy Wang Yu, who received the leading role after winning a Shaw Brothers audition for the project. The film helped establish Wang Yu as a male action star before his breakthrough in The One-Armed Swordsman. Its importance lies in its place within the studio’s mid-1960s shift toward male-centered Mandarin martial-arts films.
