Time After Time

The ABC series follows H.G. Wells, played by Freddie Stroma, as he uses his time machine to pursue John Stevenson, who is revealed to be Jack the Ripper, into modern-day Manhattan. ABC aired five episodes between March 5 and March 26, 2017, then removed the show from its schedule. Twelve episodes had been produced, and the unaired episodes later became available through international broadcasts and CW Seed. The series is presented as an adaptation of Karl Alexander's 1979 novel, while the same story had also been made into a 1979 film directed by Nicholas Meyer.
