The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Toledo, Spain, and the seat of the Archbishop of Toledo. Construction began in 1226 under King Ferdinand III and was completed in the 15th century, resulting in a massive High Gothic structure. The building incorporates elements of Mudéjar architecture and is distinguished by its extensive medieval stained-glass windows, towering nave, and the Baroque artwork known as 'El Transparente' designed by Narciso Tomé.
