Its robust construction and versatile configurations, available as both passenger minivans and cargo transport models, make it highly adaptable. Furthermore, its long-standing reputation for utilizing reliable, long-lasting powertrains ensures minimal downtime for businesses.

Toyota stopped selling the HiAce in the US market in the late 1990s, largely due to increasingly strict safety and emissions regulations. The 'Chicken Tax,' a 25% tariff on imported light trucks, also made it financially unviable to import directly.
