Transwave - Phototropic

"Phototropic" is a classic 1996 album that falls firmly into the Goa trance genre. Transwave, the French duo behind the album, was known for its heavy use of hypnotic synthesizers and fast, rolling electronic beats.

The electronic music duo Transwave split up in 1997, just a year after the release of the "Phototropic" album. Members Frederic Holyszewski and Christophe Drouillet pursued separate solo careers before eventually reuniting years later.

Transwave consisted of two highly respected French electronic music producers: Frederic Holyszewski and Christophe Drouillet. They are considered pioneers of the 1990s psychedelic trance and Goa trance scenes in Europe.

The album "Photropic" was officially released in 1996. It stands as one of the group's final full-length studio releases before their official disbandment the following year.
