help TRILLION GAME FAQ

Is Trillion Game written by the same author as Dr. Stone?

Yes, Trillion Game is written by Riichiro Inagaki, the same writer behind Dr. Stone. The manga is illustrated by Ryo Nakamura and serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits, targeting a seinen rather than shonen demographic. The anime adaptation aired as part of a recent anime season.

What kind of company do Gaku and Haru build in Trillion Game?

Gaku and Haru found a technology startup, leveraging Gaku's programming skills and Haru's relentless charisma to pitch investors and grow the business. The story follows their journey from struggling young men with no resources to entrepreneurs chasing the goal of earning a trillion dollars. The plot draws heavily on real-world Silicon Valley startup culture and deal-making.

How does Gaku and Haru's partnership work?

Haru Tennouji is the fearless, outgoing frontman who handles negotiations, networking, and bold gambits, while Manabu "Gaku" Taira provides the technical expertise needed to actually build products. Their dynamic is built on the fact that Haru saved Gaku from thugs years earlier, establishing trust and mutual respect. Together they cover each other's critical weaknesses in the competitive business world.

Is the Trillion Game manga still ongoing?

As of the mid-2020s, the Trillion Game manga continues to be serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits. The anime adaptation covers only the early portion of the story, so there is significantly more material available in the manga. Readers looking to continue beyond the anime can pick up the manga volumes.
