Tripneustes californicus is a species of regular sea urchin found in the eastern Pacific Ocean, including waters along the coast of California. It was described by Alexander Agassiz in 1863 and belongs to the family Toxopneustidae. Like other regular sea urchins, it has a rounded test, movable spines, and tube feet used for movement and attachment on the seafloor.
