Unbowed

description Unbowed Overview

Unbowed is a 2011 South Korean courtroom drama directed by Chung Ji-young. It was inspired by the widely reported crossbow incident involving former professor Kim Myung-ho, who contested a university employment decision and was later accused of attacking a judge. The film follows the resulting criminal case and uses courtroom confrontations to examine judicial procedure, institutional authority, and a defendant's uncompromising demand for evidentiary scrutiny.
