description UQ Holder Overview
UQ Holder! is a Japanese shonen manga written and illustrated by Ken Akamatsu. Set in the same fictional universe as Negima! Magister Negi Magi, it follows Tota Konoe, a boy who becomes a vampire and joins UQ Holder, a group of immortal beings.
The series began serialization in 2013, later carried the subtitle Magister Negi Magi! 2, and concluded in 2022 after 28 collected volumes. It combines fantasy, action, supernatural themes, and a continuing connection to Akamatsu's earlier series.
