VAVA Chroma

The Chroma is an ultra-short-throw projector designed to sit on furniture close to the wall rather than across the room. Producing a roughly 100-inch picture requires only a small gap, although the exact placement depends on screen position and cabinet depth.

It uses a triple-laser light system with separate red, green, and blue light sources. That design gives it a wider color range than many single-laser phosphor projectors.

It can project onto a plain wall, but wall texture and ambient light will reduce contrast and uniformity. An ambient-light-rejecting screen made for ultra-short-throw projectors produces a more dependable daytime image.

It provides a large 4K-class image and supports HDR formats, but competitive players should examine latency and refresh-rate requirements carefully. A dedicated gaming television or monitor will generally offer faster response and features such as high-refresh-rate input.
