VisionPath is designed to leverage standard IP-based CCTV cameras, meaning you often do not need to buy entirely new hardware to deploy the system. It uses AI computer vision to analyze the existing video feeds to monitor foot traffic and product placement.

Beyond just counting customers, the system monitors the point of sale and compares inventory movement against actual register data. It specifically flags unusual handling patterns or items passing through blind spots to alert managers of potential theft.

While the AI processing can be done locally via edge computing, the dashboards and real-time alerts require an active internet connection. Store managers rely on this cloud connection to receive compliance reports on their mobile devices.
