Waxie Moon is a celebrated gender-bending boylesque performer based in Seattle, Washington. They are recognized for helping to pioneer the modern male renaissance in the neo-burlesque movement.

The performer is the subject of a feature-length documentary simply titled *Waxie Moon*, directed by Seattle filmmaker Wes Hurley. The film explores their rise in the Pacific Northwest's vibrant cabaret scene.

Boylesque is a subgenre of neo-burlesque that features male performers, and Waxie Moon was instrumental in popularizing it in the late 2000s. Their performances intentionally blur gender lines and subvert traditional masculine tropes through theatrical striptease.
