White House Farm

The series dramatizes the 1985 White House Farm murders in Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Essex, where five members of the Bamber and Caffell families — Neville and June Bamber, their adopted daughter Sheila Caffell, and her six-year-old twin sons — were found shot dead. The investigation initially treated it as a murder-suicide by Sheila before shifting suspicion to Jeremy Bamber, who was convicted in 1986.

Freddie Fox portrays Jeremy Bamber. The cast also includes Stephen Graham as the investigating detective DS 'Taff' Jones and Alexa Davies as Julie Mugford, Jeremy's former girlfriend who became a key prosecution witness. The six-part series aired on ITV in early 2020.

The production drew on court records, police statements, and published accounts of the case, aiming for broad factual accuracy in reconstructing the investigation. However, some scenes and dialogue were dramatized for narrative purposes. Jeremy Bamber, who maintains his innocence from prison, has publicly criticized the series.

The series consists of six episodes, each examining a different phase of the case from the night of the killings through the investigation and trial. It was broadcast on ITV in January and February of 2020 and is available on streaming platforms including BritBox and ITVX.
