Willie Dynamite is a 1973 American crime drama associated with the blaxploitation film cycle and directed by Gilbert Moses. Roscoe Orman plays Willie, a New York pimp whose business, clothing, rivals, and struggle for control shape the story. The film addresses the criminal economy surrounding pimping and includes conflicts involving violence, money, and attempts to change the conditions of that life. It was released in New York in 1974 and identified as the first Zanuck-Brown production.
