Wuling Hongguang

It is a very small battery-electric city car developed through the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture and sold primarily in China. Despite some catalog descriptions calling it a minivan, its compact hatchback body is designed mainly for urban travel.

The standard Mini EV has four seats in a very small cabin. Its rear seats and short body prioritize low-cost city transport over large luggage capacity or highway comfort.

Its appeal came from a low purchase price, tiny footprint, and simple electric drivetrain. The model became a notable urban EV after its launch in 2020, especially for short commutes and local errands.

Range depends on the battery and version, with commonly advertised variants offering roughly 120 to 300 kilometers under different test cycles. Real-world range changes with speed, temperature, passengers, and battery condition.
