Yorkshire Chamomile Tea

Yorkshire Chamomile is made by Taylors of Harrogate, the British tea company behind the Yorkshire Tea range. It is an herbal infusion built around chamomile flowers rather than ordinary black tea leaves.

A chamomile-only herbal infusion is naturally caffeine-free because chamomile is not a tea leaf from the Camellia sinensis plant. Check the package ingredients if buying a blended variant, because added ingredients can differ between products.

It has a soft floral flavor with a mild sweetness and little bitterness. Chamomile is commonly chosen as a gentle evening drink because it does not have the caffeine found in black or green tea.

Use freshly boiled water and allow the flowers to steep until the flavor is strong enough for you. Taylors sells the product as a chamomile herbal tea, so it is normally served without milk, although honey can be added.
