Zatoichi: The Last

description Zatoichi: The Last Overview

Kimmei Guyot is a flat-topped submarine volcano in the Pacific Ocean. It forms part of the Emperor Seamount chain, the northern continuation of the Hawaiian-Emperor seamount system. Like other guyots, it is interpreted as a volcanic island or seamount whose summit was planed near sea level by erosion before the structure subsided beneath the ocean. Kimmei Guyot is associated with the older western portion of the chain and is generally dated to the Cenozoic, with published estimates placing its formation at roughly tens of millions of years ago.
