Panic

description Panic Overview

Panic is a 1946 French psychological thriller and film noir directed by Julien Duvivier. The screenplay is an adaptation of Georges Simenon's 1933 novel Les Fiançailles de M. Hire. The film stars Michel Simon as Monsieur Hire, an eccentric and isolated outcast who becomes the prime suspect in a local murder investigation, leading to a tense pursuit through the atmospheric streets of a Parisian suburb.
