Extreme Networks X465 Series

It is a stackable campus edge and aggregation Ethernet switch, not a Fibre Channel SAN switch. The series includes 24-port and 48-port models, multi-gigabit access options, modular uplinks, and PoE variants for connected devices. The current X465 specifications do not list 800GbE. Extreme lists modular 10 Gb, 25 Gb, and 40 Gb uplink options and high-speed stacking, so the 800GbE claim appears to confuse total or stacked bandwidth with an individual port speed. Extreme supports stacking up to eight X465 switches using SummitStack-V160. Each unit has two dedicated 40 Gb QSFP+ stacking ports on the front panel. Yes. Extreme lists redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans for the X465 family, but the installation guide says the interface modules are not hot-swappable. Check the exact model and airflow direction before replacing a field-replaceable part.
