Rook

description Rook Overview

Rook is a trick taking game introduced by Parker Brothers in the early twentieth century and played with a dedicated deck of numbered cards in four colors. The deck replaces the suits and court cards of conventional playing cards and includes a special Rook Bird card, making it suitable for households that avoided standard cards. Numerous rule sets exist, but the familiar partnership form uses bidding, a trump color, a concealed group of cards called the nest, and points assigned to selected cards.
