description Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Overview
Small enough to attach to everyday belongings, Samsung's Galaxy SmartTag2 helps locate misplaced keys, wallets or bags through SmartThings Find. It uses Bluetooth for nearby finding and the Galaxy finding network when an item is farther away. The tracker works with compatible Samsung Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra, rather than Android phones in general. Its attachment opening makes it practical for a key ring or bag strap, and IP67 water and dust resistance provides protection under defined conditions.
That rating does not mean unrestricted waterproofing. The tag suits Galaxy owners who regularly misplace possessions and want a way to check their location from a phone. It belongs to Samsung's connected-device system, so phone compatibility matters as much as its compact form. Finding a remote item depends on the surrounding network.
