description MotoGP Kazakhstan Grand Prix Overview
The MotoGP Kazakhstan Grand Prix was a proposed round of the FIM MotoGP World Championship at the Sokol International Racetrack near Almaty. It was announced for 2023 as the championship's first visit to Kazakhstan and a new Central Asian venue, but the 2023 race was cancelled before it took place. A 2024 edition was scheduled and then postponed because of regional flooding before being cancelled for operational and logistical reasons, so no Kazakhstan MotoGP race has been held.
