The parsnip moth, also called the parsnip webworm, is a small moth in the family Depressariidae. It is generally treated as Depressaria radiella (Goeze, 1783), while Depressaria pastinacella (Duponchel, 1838) is a historical synonym used in North American and older literature. Its larvae feed on the flowers and developing seeds of wild parsnip and related umbellifers, then may enter the plant stem to pupate.
