CalDigit TS4 Thunderbolt 4 Dock

With 18 connections, the CalDigit TS4 Thunderbolt 4 Dock is intended to serve as a desktop connection point for a compatible laptop. Its ports include USB-A and USB-C, 2.5Gb Ethernet, UHS-II SD and microSD readers, and audio connections. Laptop charging reaches up to 98W, reducing the need to connect a separate charger when the computer's requirements and compatibility allow. Three Thunderbolt 4 ports are present in total, but one connects to the host computer, leaving two downstream ports for peripherals.

A DisplayPort connection adds another display option. The Thunderbolt link supports up to 40Gbps, with bandwidth shared rather than independently guaranteed to every attached device at once. This arrangement suits creative professionals and users with storage devices and displays gathered around one workstation. Its distinction is the breadth of connections in a desktop dock, though display support and usable capabilities still depend on the connected computer.
