help Shanling M2X FAQ
What kind of storage does the Shanling M2X use?
The Shanling M2X uses microSD-based music storage. That lets users carry a larger library than would fit in a small fixed-memory player.
Can the Shanling M2X connect to Wi-Fi?
Yes. It includes Wi-Fi alongside a color touchscreen and local playback features. Wi-Fi enables supported network functions, but it is not the same as having unrestricted modern smartphone app support.
What Bluetooth features does the Shanling M2X have?
It supports bidirectional Bluetooth, meaning Bluetooth can be used for wireless audio connections and for receiving audio in supported modes. This is more flexible than a player that only transmits to headphones.
What DAC does the Shanling M2X use?
The M2X uses an ESS digital-to-analog converter as part of its audio section. The player combines that component with Shanling’s touchscreen interface and microSD playback.
