description Action Razz Overview
Action Razz is a seven-card stud lowball variant that modifies Razz with a face-card qualifier. The deal gives each player two concealed cards, four exposed cards, and a final concealed card; at showdown, a player must have at least one jack, queen, or king among the seven cards to qualify. A qualifying hand defeats a non-qualifying hand even when the latter has the lower California low, while a table with no qualifying hands uses ordinary Razz comparison. The game was created by Kevin Un.
