description Follow the Queen Overview
Follow the Queen is a seven-card stud variant used mainly in home games. When a queen is dealt face up, the next exposed card becomes wild, and a later exposed queen can cause the wild rank to change again; tables may differ on how consecutive queens and the final wild card are handled. Players still make the best five-card poker hand from seven cards, but the moving wild-card rule makes the value of visible cards change during the deal. It is intended for players who accept substantial variation in home-game rules.
