Ak-Saray Palace is a ruined Timurid architectural complex located in Shahrisabz, Uzbekistan. Construction of the massive palace began in 1380 under the orders of the Turco-Mongol conqueror Timur, intended to serve as his summer residence. Today, the site is most distinguished by its surviving monumental entrance portal, which features towering iwans and intricate glazed tile mosaics. Recognized as a masterpiece of Central Asian architecture, the ruins are part of the Historic Centre of Shakhrisyabz UNESCO World Heritage site.
