Amphioctopus membranaceus, commonly called the webfoot octopus, is a benthic octopus of the Indo-Pacific. It lives in shallow coastal water, including sandy or rubble-bottom habitats, and has been recorded from near the surface to depths of roughly 60 meters. Its distinguishing feature is the broad webbing between the arms, which gives the species its common name and separates it visually from less webbed octopuses.
