The Andro Rasanter R42 is designed for aggressive, offensive players who rely on high-spin loops and powerful topspin shots. It features a medium-hard sponge (42 degrees on the ESN scale) that provides an excellent balance of speed and control. It is ideal for players looking to execute explosive attacking strokes close to the table.

The 'R' denotes 'Rotation,' indicating that the rubber is optimized for extreme spin generation due to its tacky top sheet and pimple geometry. Andro pairs this with an energetic, built-in tension (a 'tensor' effect) to provide massive catapult force on the ball. This distinguishes it from the faster, flatter-hitting V42 (Velocity) model.

The R42 is generally considered slightly less powerful and slightly softer than Butterfly's Tenergy 05, making it more forgiving and easier to control for intermediate players.
