Arden 15 Bermudagrass

Arden 15 is a seeded cultivar of Cynodon dactylon, rather than a vegetatively planted hybrid such as Tifway 419. Turf research has evaluated it alongside MBG 002, Blackjack, Common, and Paul 1 bermudagrasses. ([Agronomy Journal](https://acsess.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/agj2.21206))

A field study tested Arden 15 in Valencia, Spain at about 39 degrees north and Legnaro, Italy at about 45 degrees north. It showed useful spring green-up performance, although bermudagrass in the cooler site still had poorer establishment and longer winter dormancy.
