Art Davis, also credited as Arthur Davis, was an American animator and director associated with Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts. He worked at Warner alongside directors including Friz Freleng and Chuck Jones and briefly headed a separate animation unit in the late 1940s. Davis later returned to animating for other directors, and his credited directing work includes shorts built around established Warner characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Pepe Le Pew.
